No per-player fees
Some ladder tools charge by the player, so a full ladder costs more than a half-empty one. One runs about $600 a year at 50 players. Here, the price is the same whether three people are out this week or the whole ladder shows up.
What counts as a league
A league is the set of ladders one organizer runs together, up to 4 time slots under one price. A club with a 6:00 ladder and a 7:30 ladder on the same night is one league. Two towns running separate nights are two.
Questions
- What happens after the trial?
- Since no card is on file during the trial, you decide whether to continue by adding a payment method once the 3 days are up. Nothing is charged on its own.
- What if I let it lapse?
- The league goes read-only. You can still open the sheet, print scorecards, read results and download everything. Only changes are held until you subscribe.
- Can I cancel? Do I get a refund?
- Cancel any time from Manage billing. Your league stays fully active until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part-months, but if something went wrong on our side, email support@synthandscale.com and we'll make it right.
- Can I take my data with me?
- Yes, any time, from the billing page: a full backup and the ladder as a spreadsheet. They work whether or not the league is read-only.
- Can I change plans later?
- Yes. Your plan, card and invoices are all on the billing page once you subscribe.
- Is there a yearly plan?
- No, monthly only. A lot of leagues run for a season and stop, so a year-long commitment does not fit everyone. Cancel whenever your season ends: the league goes read-only, and the sheet, results and both exports keep working, so there is nothing to lose over the off-season.
- Do players need an account?
- No. Players never log in. Only you do.
